“I guess I could say I was on a lonely journey, and I was definitely full of grief. I had taken on the role of caring for my dad, and that journey lasted 4 1/2 years. I learned a lot, but one thing I knew was that at the end of this journey, I was going to have to move, take care of myself, and find a career. So I began this process, and it was very overwhelming. I was grieving and trying to figure things out.

I learned about True to Life Ministries from my sister who had taken their employment class at a time when she needed it. It was so powerful hearing what she learned, and I felt like it was exactly what I needed. I ended up taking the class, and it was an overwhelmingly great experience.”
